Charles And Camilla Begin Visit in Punjab

The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have begun a tour of the northern Indian state of Punjab. The Prince inaugurated a new foundation devoted to organic farming. The heir to the British throne and his wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, also took in a mock village that represented the village way of life in Punjab. Charles and Camilla are on a six-day tour of India, once dubbed the Jewel in the Crown of the British Empire. Charles famously visited the country with his late wife, first wife, Diana in 1992.
