제7장 관사
  

관사에는 부정관사와 정관사가 있다. 

특히 부정관사와 정관사의 용법, 관사의 생략과 위치에 유의해야 한다.

 

1. 부정관사의 용법
It took an hour to finish the homework. (= one)
He sees his girl friend once a week. (= per)
Min-su and his sister are of an age. (= the same)
A young lady came to see you today. (= a certain)
A dog is a faithful animal. (대표단수)
  

2. 정관사의 용법
There is a book in my bag. The book is interesting.
The books on the desk are mine.
The dog is a useful animal. (종족대표)
The earth moves round the sun.
December is the last month of the year.
The rich are not always happy.
  

3. 관사의 생략
We elected him president.
Tom went to bed at eleven o'clock.
They played baseball after school.
  

4. 관사의 위치
You can't do it such a short time.
This is too difficult a book for me to read.
