What Did You Have in Mind?

Woman 1: What did you have in mind?

Woman 2: Well, I think I’d like to try something different, but I’m not sure what.

Woman 1: Were you thinking of a new color?

Woman 2: Nothing too drastic. Maybe something to bring out the highlights.

Woman 1: What about the style? Were you thinking of a perm?

Woman 2: A loose perm might be a good idea.

Woman 1: I think your hair would do really well with it.

Woman 2: Do you really think so?

Woman 1: I do. And you’ve got a nice face for it.

Woman 2: Well, I did say I wanted something different.

Woman 1: Well, what do you think?

Woman 2: I like it, I really like it. What do you think?

Woman 1: I think it’s great.

Woman 2: I’ll come back to you.

Woman 1: Please do.

여자 1: 어떻게 해 드릴까요?

여자 2: 글쎄요, 변화를 좀 주고 싶은데 어떻게 해야 할지 잘 모르겠어요.

여자 1: 머리색을 바꿀 생각이세요?

여자 2: 너무 강렬한 색은 싫어요. 브리지 정도면 괜찮을 것 같은데요.

여자 1: 머리 모양은요? 파마하실 생각이었어요?

여자 2: 파마를 약하게 하는 것도 괜찮을 것 같아요.

여자 1: 파마를 하면 참 잘 어울릴 것 같아요.

여자 2: 정말로 그렇게 생각하세요?

여자 1: 네. 본인 얼굴이 잘 받쳐주니까요.

여자 2: 변화를 주고 싶다고 하긴 했는데.

여자 1: 자, 어떻습니까?

여자 2: 좋아요, 정말 맘에 들어요. 어때요?

여자 1: 정말 멋있는데요.

여자 2: 다음에 또 올게요.

여자 1: 그러세요.

5) highlights/ 염색[탈색]한 머리의 밝은 부문

6) style/ 스타일, 모양: 여기서는 헤어스타일(hair style)을 뜻함

7) perm/ 파마(permanent wave), 퍼머넌트 웨이브

ex. Can you give me a perm? (파마 좀 해주세요.)

8) do well with/ …와 잘 어울리다
