Broker: All right, sir. Is there anything else?

Client: Yes, I heard a rumor that Checkright Security Systems is a takeover target. Have you heard anything about it?

Broker: I’ve had five clients calling to say the same thing.

Client: What price is it trading at right now?

Broker: It’s trading right around $12 a share.

Client: Let’s see if we can pick up 500 shares at $12.

Broker: Fine. Would you like to hold while I get a confirmation?
