Alitalia’s push for profitability faces another challenge today, a strike and dozens of canceled flights. The Italian flag carrier has canceled 59 domestic and international flights because of a walkout by flight attendants. Alitalia lost $970 million last year but still hopes that a restructuring program will return it to profit next year.

수익성 재고를 위한 알리탈리아 항공사의 적극적인 (구조 조정) 노력이 오늘 또 다른 국면을 맞아 파업사태가 초래되고 수십 여 편의 항공기 운항이 취소되었습니다. 이 이탈리아의 국영 항공사는 승무원들의 파업으로 인해 59편의 국내외 항공기 운항을 취소했습니다. 알리탈리아 사는 지난해 9억 7천만 달러의 손실을 보았으나 구조 조정 정책으로 인해 내년에는 흑자로 전환될 것을 기대하고 있습니다.
